A vibrant community of practitioners using PIA to navigate our ways through life, whatever we do, everywhere we are

Our member practitioners include individuals from a wide range of cultural, community and professional contexts. Amongst us are activists; artists; business consultants & owners; community workers; educationalists; environmentalists; professionals working in academia; charities; NGOs; social enterprises and in corporate, health & public sectors. While this brings together a rich diversity of perspectives and experience, we have in common, the ability to leverage PIA to support ourselves and other individuals and groups to meet the challenges we are facing - with greater clarity, coherence and confidence.

All members practise the self-centering praxis of Presence in Action alone and with each other. This enables us to deepen and extend our capacities to support ourselves personally and collectively. We continually resource ourselves by engaging in an emerging PIA learning ecosystem that offers opportunties for:

  • Training

  • Mentoring

  • Supervision

  • Self-organised Group practice sessions

  • Self-organised community and public conversations on issues that inspire/intrigue/concern us

  • Community in Practice Gatherings

  • Self-reflection

  • Learning apprenticeships.

Our professional members - Community Accepted Practitioners (CAP) - engage in PIA supervision and commit to the Principles that guide our practice. A short document summarises the practical, philosophical and theoretical foundations that inform our PIA praxis. It also summarises our personal engagement in, and as, a Community IN Practice. On the basis of this robust declaration of our commitment to ongoing personal and collective professional learning and practice Oxygen Insurance acknowledges us as a Professional body serving and safeguarding our members, our CIC and all those we serve.

By practising our practice with one another over time, we grow our individual capacities to host those we serve beyond PIA Collective. This enables us to nurture (re)generative coherent relationships across our working and personal lives.

We offer bursaries to individuals less able to (fully) fund their participation. This includes those who want to experience PIA as well as though wanting to be practising members of PIA Collective.
